The Minnesota Stroke Association's annual events help raise community awareness of stroke while honoring stroke survivors and paying tribute to those who have supported our organization throughout the years.


Strides for Stroke

The 2019 Strides for Stroke took place on Saturday, May 18 in Duluth, Saint Cloud and the Twin Cities. Team Totals are now available.


Strike Out Stroke

Strike Out Stroke is presented each May (National Stroke Month) in partnership with the Minnesota Twins baseball team. At its heart, the event honors stroke survivors from the previous year. The 2019 Strike Out Stroke day took place on May 2.


Stroke Awareness Month

Each May, the Minnesota Stroke Association celebrates National Stroke Awareness Month. The month of May becomes a highlight for all who have been touched by stroke. Click here for more information.

The Minnesota Stroke Association will be hosting the 2019 Statewide Stroke Conference on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Earle Brown Center in Brooklyn Center. Registration information will be available in late August.


Events with the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance


The 2019 Annual Conference for Professionals in Brain Injury was held on April 25 and 26, 2019 at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

In 2019, the Consumer and Family Conferences will take place on Saturday, October 19 at New Life Presbyterian Church in Roseville. Click here for more information.



The 2019 Walk for Thought will take place on Saturday, September 21 at four locations around Minnesota:

  • Duluth - Canal Park
  • Saint Cloud - CentraCare Health Plaza
  • Twin Cities - Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton
